Angela Carlson
Angela joined the new EHF board to assist in accomplishing the goal of making the Enchanted Highway financially sustainable going forward so that future generations can continue to enjoy the wonderful, artful display of life displayed by the scrap metal sculptures. North Dakota is a great place to live. Having been born and raised on a farm south of Regent, Angela believes the Enchanted Highway celebrates rural North Dakota.
Angela has years of corporate experience, previously worked as an Assistant Vice President on Wall Street in NYC, managed several teams in IT industry in Denver Colorado. She received her bachelor’s degree from Denver University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Colorado before returning to North Dakota in 2014. She has served as a county commissioner for Hettinger County and has currently serves on many cooperative and community boards of directors. Angela and her husband Bob Carlson own Carlson Classic Angus –ranching and farming just east of the Enchanted Highway, north of Regent, ND.

Rich Wardner
The Enchanted Highway Sculptures are a great testimony to the creativity and fortitude of the people of Southwest North Dakota. Gary Greff’s work is known nationwide, and people come from every corner of the United States to experience his art. The sculptures need to be preserved to encourage future generations that they may attain goals and visions no matter what may be their dream.
Rich Wardner is retired from education where he taught math and science classes as well as coaching basketball and football at Dickinson and Mohall High Schools. He is a graduate of Dickinson State University and has spent 32 years in the North Dakota Legislature, 8 years in the House of Representatives and 24 years in the Senate. Rich and his wife Kayleen live in Dickinson and have two grown children, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

This Highway has not only been apart of my hometown but also my family since I was little. I want my kids to experience the same wonder and pride that this highway represents. I currently work for an oil company in Dickinson. I enjoy spending my time with my husband and our two little girls and the rest of our large extended family.

Welder and owner of Stelter Repair, Inc., New Leipzig, ND. I joined the Board because I think the Enchanted Highway is not only an asset for Regent but also for southwest North Dakota. Gary has put in so much time, effort and skill that when he retires in 20 years or so we want it to continue.

Currently Market President at Dakota Western Bank. I live and work in Regent, ND. I see the enjoyment that people of all ages experience while touring the Enchanted Highway. Let’s keep this project alive for generations to come!
